The 21st century online information challenge is not the content, but it chimera-like nature. It moves, changes, confuses and frustrates. But we are stable experienced information wranglers. We find what our community needs; we deliver it ( along with a lesson on how to find it again, and the scaffolding and reassurance necessary to help people).

（Χίμαιρα). A fire-breathing monster of Lycia, destroyed by Bellerophon (q.v.). According to Homer the Chimaera was of divine origin. In front it was a lion, behind it was a serpent, and in the middle a goat, and was brought up by King Amisodarus as a plague for men. The myth is still powerfully relevent to the modern imagination. photo source
